Getting started, right out of my driveway and heading up Emerson Avenue.

The "upper" neighborhoods on Table Mesa Drive.

Leaving the houses behind, ... onto the NCAR road.

The National Center for Atmospheric Research. "What a nice day!"

Someone who went up before me. Going for speed. Note the curve up ahead (to the left).

Still approaching that curve and looking to my left, across to the final stretch. (Looks steep.)

Into the top curve and directly under the foothills (the Flatirons), heading south.
